Descender, Volume 2: Machine Moon by Jeff LemireMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
Well wow this volume is as good as the first, still blissfully in love with the muted watercolour artwork, the story of Tim 21 is both relatable and expanding now as additional characters are identified and the reasons for peoples actions is becoming more apparent I cannot wait to read Volume 3 as we have left Tim 21 at a bit on a cliff hanger with his fellow robot Tim 22.
What I enjoy about this series is the sci-fi nature of it. It is starting to remind me of things like the 80's version of Battle Star Galactica, Star Wars and Black Hole.
I am still uncertain as to both Tesla and Quon's agenda's for Tim 21 and I hope that once he is reunited with driller he will be a little safer for a while at least.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has not read a graphic novel/comic and enjoys this genre.
